UN Women Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant for the “Win-Win: Gender Equality means Good Business” Programme

UN Women - in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the European Union is implementing the regional Programme “Win-Win: Gender Equality Means Good Business” to contribute to the economic empowerment of women, recognizing them as beneficiaries and partners of growth and development, by increasing commitment of private companies to gender equality and women´s empowerment and strengthening companies’ capacities to implement these commitments. The action will ultimately contribute to the achievement of gender equality through enabling women’s labour force participation, entrepreneurship, economic empowerment and thus their full and equal participation in society.

The Programme is implemented in 6 Latin American and Caribbean countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Uruguay. It will also have a regional component under the responsibility of UN Women Brazil Country Office. 

Reporting to the Regional Coordinator of the Win-Win Programme, based in Sao Paulo, and in coordination with the Regional Programme Associate, based in Brasilia, the M&E consultant is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the M&E Regional Plan, which includes reporting, for 6 months. It is foreseen a 2-month overlap period with the Regional M&E Associate after the maternity leave, in order to ensure proper support and handover.

The M&E consultant will conduct his/her work within the modality of home-based. It is expected 25 hours per week. Weekly Skype meetings with the Regional Programme Associate, based in Brasilia, must be foreseen and recorded through minutes.
